ENVIRONMENTAL JUSTICE CERTIFICATE PROGRAM

Thursdays, September 16th - December 10th, 2020

7-9 PM EST

This new course will appeal to social workers at the micro, mezzo, and macro levels. Social workers and other helping professionals can market their new skills in a rapidly changing world, where situations such as the COVID-19 pandemic highlight the impact of environmental injustice, in the form of air pollution, on marginalized populations who experienced higher rates of severe illness and death. Social workers will learn the benefits of ensuring environmental justice on their professional goals and recognize multisolving for the traditional purposes of social work alongside positive environmental measures to multiply benefits. This solution-focused course will differentiate social workers by expanding their critical thinking and improving their efficacy.

Space is limited. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis.

WHAT PARTICIPANTS SAY ABOUT OUR TRAININGS

I thought this was an excellent program. I was impressed by the presenters, their use of the technology, the use of the break-out rooms, and then joining again with the full group. This webinar exceeded my expectations. Bravo.

Excellent webinar. Thank you so much for an informative and enjoyable experience. I've been in practice for close to 40 years, and I truly appreciate CEU's that have something new and thought provoking to teach me.
